I did some late school supply shopping to pick up all that stuff I didn't think I need but turned out needing anyway. Mostly extra binders. :P Then, after a horrendous wait at Office Max, I treated myself to coffee at Starbucks. Because their raspberry mochas are amazing. I went job searching today... and miserably failed at it. :P Then I dragged my sister to the theater to see OotP yet again. It was my third time and her fourth, and she is nowhere near as huge a HP fan as me. But we had fun making fun of the movie. Not that I don't enjoy it. Today was fun. I drove around, bought a book for my summer assignment at Borders (and the cashier found it in the sale section for a mere four bucks as opposed to the regular thirteen!), shopped at Target (I have to go back and apply to work there soon!), and had an iced mocha at Starbucks. So yay! I went to the mall today, bought a couple of shirts and a dress (?!?!), plus some good smelling bars of soap (from Bath and Body Works) and the Tarzan soundtrack on CD (I used to have it on cassette tape, but I lost it).

The Serenity screening? Fabulous. Portlanders are more awesome than I gave them credit for.

The theater wasn't quite sold out, but it was pretty full. They opened the doors at one, and people just sort of milled around, got seats, and bought stuff for an hour until two. They then did a little intro, talked about Equality Now, and showed this ( Read more... )
